Paul Robeson Speech – Artist’s Can’t Stand Aloof

Robeson’s awareness of segregation and oppression grew as he became more well known to the public eye. He began to use his rich voice to speak out about equality and independence. He also encouraged other artists to use their talents and abilities to become more involved with causes around the world.
